The Department of English Language at the SBMU  School of Medicine is active with the presence of six academic staff and offers English language courses to students at undergraduate and graduate levels. The department has been active for about 35 years, and has been offering workshops to the academic staff at different universities.

The educational activities of the Department of English Language of the SBMU School of Medicine may be categorized as the educational services to students and academic staff: the services rendered by the department include courses offered to undergraduate level (PhD General of Medicine), and graduate levels (MSCs, PhDs, and assistantship levels). The services rendered to the academic staff cover various educational workshops including Article Writing Workshop, CV Writing Workshop, Certificate Writing Workshop, Article Editing Workshop, and ISI Journals Article Writing Workshop.
